Etebo, Friday On Target As Feirense, Alkmaar Win; Balogun, Echiejile, Igiebor Benched

Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo was on target for CD Feirense in their 3-2 home win against Chaves in a Portuguese top flight game on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Etebo scored in the 81st minute to seal the win for Feirense who fought back  from two-goal down.

The goal was Etebo's first in the league and second in all competitions so far this season.

In the Dutch Eredivisie ( first division), Nigerian forward, Fred Friday, was amongst the scorers as AZ Alkmaar thrashed visiting ADO Den Haag 4-0. Super Eagles invitee Tyronne Ebuehi featured for ADO Den Haag.

Friday netted in the 60th minute to make it 4-0 for Alkmaar and also bagged his fourth in the league and also fifth in all competitons.

Leon Balogun was on the bench for Mainz 05 who lost 1-0 at home to Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga. He was also benched in his team's previous 2-1 away defeat to Darmstadt.

Balogun is yet to feature for Mainz in 2017 since returning from injury

In the Spanish La Liga, Elderson Echiejile was an unused substitute for Sporting Gijon who defeated Granada 3-1. Uche Agbo was in action for Granada and played 90 minutes.

In the Turkish Super League, Kenneth Omeruo made a 90 minutes appearance for Alanyaspor who beat Bursaspor 3-1 away.

Still in Turkey, Nigerian duo, Godfrey Oboabona and Bright Edomwonyi played for Rizespor who were beaten 1-0 away at Genclerbirligi.

 Oboabona and Edomwonyi played for 90 minutes, while their compatriot, Nosa Igiebor, was benched throughout the game.
