U-23 Eagles forward, Oghenekaro Etebo, is in line to win the top scorer's honour at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Warri Wolves hitman who has been one of his side's standout performers in the competition currently top the scorers' chart in the competition with three goals.
His teammate, Junior Ajayi, Zinedine Ferhat of Algeria and South Africa's duo, Menzi Masuku and Gift Motupa, as well as Ibrahima Keita of Senegal, who have all scored two goals in the competition, have a chance to catch up with him or surpass his tally on the final day of the competition.
All the players are expected to be in action on Saturday during the third place game and final fixture at the Stade Leopold Sedar Senghor.
Tunisia's Haythem Jouini has also scored twice in the competition, but is not in contention for the honour as his side failed to make it beyond the group stage.
