Euro 2016: Xhaka Brothers Clash As Switzerland Edge 10-Man Albania

Switzerland got their 2016 UEFA European Championship off to a good start after they beat 10-man Albania 1-0 in Group A.

An interesting sub-plot to the match was the two brothers playing as international opponents, Switzerland's Granit Xhaka and his elder brother, Albania's Taulant.

The only goal of the game came in the fifth minute through Fabian Schar.

Albania skipper Lorik Cana was sent off in the 37th minute after picking up his second yellow card.

He was first booked in the 23rd minute of the encounter.

The win sees Switzerland go second in Group A on three points behind hosts France, while Albania are rooted bottom of the group.

Group A's next games come up on Wednesday 15th June with Switzerland will facing Romania and France going head-to-head against Albania.
