Europa: Emenike Subbed Off In Fenerbahce Win, Igiebor Loses With Maccabi

Former Nigeria international striker Emmanuel Emenike failed to add to his one  Europa League goal for Turkish club Fenerbahce in their 2-0 home win against Ukrainian outfit, Zorya on Thursday, reports

Emenike started the game but was substituted in the 46th minute with his replacement Miroslav Stoch scoring the opener for the home  side on 59 minutes.

Simon Kjaer made the points safe for Fenerbache when he netted the second in the 67th minute.

At the Stadion Petrovskivy,Ukraine, Super Eagles midfielder, Nosa Igiebor  was on the losing side as his Isreali Maccabi Tel Aviv fell 2 -0 to Zenit St Petersburg.

Igiebor was on from the start to finish in the game and received a yellow card in the 90th minute.

Aleksandr Kokorin and Alexander Kerzhakov scored both goals for Zenit.
