Former Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Emenike, made a substitute appearance as Turkish club Fenerbahce defeated Manchester United 2-1 in a Europa League game on Thursday, report Completesportsnigeria.com.
Emenike took the place of Volkan Sen in the 68th minute of the encounter.
Moussa Sow and Jermain Lens scored both goals for Fenerbache.
England captain, Wayne Rooney, scored United’s consolation goal a minute before time.
Former Nigeria youth international, Kayode Olanrewaju was on song for Austrian Wien in their 4-2 home loss against AS Roma.
The forward was also on target in the reverse fixture last week opening scoring in the 2nd minute.
He was however booked in the seventh minute of the encounter.
