Europa: Kayode, Ndidi Score; Emenike On As Fenerbahce Sink Man United

Former Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Emenike, made a substitute appearance as Turkish club Fenerbahce defeated Manchester United 2-1 in a Europa League game on Thursday, report
Emenike took the place of Volkan Sen in the 68th minute of the encounter.
Moussa Sow and Jermain Lens scored both goals for Fenerbache.
England captain, Wayne Rooney, scored United’s consolation goal a minute before time.
Former Nigeria youth international, Kayode Olanrewaju was on song for Austrian Wien in their 4-2 home loss against AS Roma.
The forward was also on target in the reverse fixture last week opening scoring in the 2nd minute.
He was however booked in the seventh minute of the encounter.
At the San Mames Barria Stadium, Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, also hit the back of the net for Genk in their 5-3 loss to Athletic Bilbao.
The midfielder who scored Genk’s second goal in the 2-0 win against the same opponent last Thursday netted in the 51st minute.

The versatile defender was involved from start to finish in the clash.
In another game involving Nigerian players, Nosa Igiebor and Fred Friday were introduced in the second half as Maccabi Tel Aviv and AZ Alkmaar played out a barren draw at the Winner Stadium, Netanya.
