Gent winger Moses Simon is delighted at his side's solitary win over English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in Thursday night's UEFA Europa League round-of-32 game first leg clash, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Moses featured for 74 minutes before he was replaced by his compatriot Samuel Kalu.
The Nigeria international was pleased with the inspring atmosphere at the Ghelamco Arena.
He wrote via his Instagram wall: "Great atmosphere and a fantastic victory tonight, glory be to God."
Jeremy Perbet scored shortly before the hour mark to hand the Belgian side an advantage going into the second leg at Wembley Stadium next Thursday.
Simon has made 30 appearances this season in all competitions for Gent who sit eighth in the Belgian Pro Division log.
