Everton have insisted that Chelsea must include Victor Moses in any deal for John Stones after the Toffees rejected the London side’s latest £25million bid for the England defender.
The Mail reports that Stones was informed of the offer being turned down on Tuesday prior to playing in Everton’s 2-0 friendly win over Dundee.
And Mail reporter Craig Hope claimed that Everton are seriously keen on the Nigeria winger being part of the switch.
Hope wrote on Twitter: “Told Chelsea won’t go above £30m for John Stones after £25m bid rejected. EFC want more money plus a player, thought to be Victor Moses.”
Moses, who has been in very good form for Chelsea on their pre-season tour, blossomed under current Everton boss Roberto Martinez, when the Spaniard was his boss at Wigan.
The Nigeria star spent the last two seasons on loan, at Liverpool and Stoke, but Jose Mourinho has given a strong indication Moses will stay at Chelsea this coming season.
