Ex-Flying Eagle Ajagun Joins Roda On Loan

By Adeboye Amosu:

Dutch side Roda JC Kekrade have signed former Nigeria youth international AbdulJelil Ajagun on a one-year loan deal from Greek outfit Panathinaikos, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Though the midfielder started last season on a bright note scoring in the first game of the campaign against Levadiakos, he was later sent out on loan to the same club in January to free up space for Panathinakos to bring in another foreign player.
The 23- year-old will now spend the 2016/ 2017 season with Roda who once paraded Nigerian internationals, Tijani Babangia and Garba Lawal.
Ajagun joined Panathinakos from Nigeria Professional Football League side Dolphins in 2013 and scored on his debut against Platanias.
The former Flying Eagles captain scored 14 goals in 58 appearances for Panathinakos.
