Nigerian striker, Imoh Ezekiel, made his official debut for Konyaspor in their 2-1 win against league champions Besiktas in the 2017 Turkish Super Cup on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Ezekiel, who joined Konyaspor from Qatari club Al-Arabi in the current transfer window, was brought on for Omer Ali Sahiner in the 82nd minute.
A goal in each half by Abdou Razack Traore and a late penalty from Nejc Skubic, secured Konyaspor their first ever Turkish Super Cup title.
Besiktas' goal was an equaliser from Cenk Tosun with less than 15 minutes left.
Konyaspor took the lead in 33rd minute through Traore who got on the score sheet.
In the 78th minute, Besiktas were back on level terms thanks to Tosun.
But in the 92nd minute, Skubic converted a spot kick to earn Konyaspor the first trophy ahead of the new season.
