Ikechukwu Ezenwa has dumped Sunshine Stars for another Nigeria Professional Football League side, FC IfeanyiUbah, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
A reliable source in the club informed Completesportsnigeria.com that both clubs have agreed terms on the deal after Sunshine Stars initially opposed the move.
Former Nigeria youth international Ezenwa was initially tipped to leave the Owena Waves at the start of the season but decided to stay with the club despite the departure of some of the side's key players like Paul Onobi, Prince Aggreh and Tunde Adeniji.
"Ezenwa has left us (Sunshine Stars) to join FC IfeanyiUbah," the source informed Completesportsnigeria.com.
"We are going to miss him as he is one of the best goalkeepers in the league, but we have a capable replacement in Abiodun Akande."
FC IfeanyiUbah were looking to sign Heartland goalie, Ebele Obi, but failed to meet the Naze Millionaires' valuation of the player.
