Ezenwa: Home Eagles Eager To Beat Burkina Faso

By Adeboye Amosu

Home-based Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, says the team is battle ready for Saturday's African Nations Championship qualifying  match against the Stallions of Burkina Faso, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The Eagles have had a solid build-up to the clash with wins in the  two test games they played ahead of the encounter.

Ezenwa told Completesportsnigeria.com that they are looking forward to the game with high hopes and are confident of securing a big win against their fellow West African opponents.

"We are ready for them (Burkina Faso)," the Sunshine Stars goalie told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"We have enjoyed perfect preparations to the game, hopefully, that will rub off positively on us on match day.
"It's important that we go all out from the start to make sure we get a big win against them to make the second leg easier."

Burkina Faso will host the second leg of the qualifier in Ouagadougou next weekend.

The overall winner of the two-leg tie will proceed to the CHAN tournament to be hosted by Rwanda in January 2016.
