Home-based Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, insists the side will move on from their disappointing exit from African Nations Championship, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Eagles, who came third at the last CHAN in South Africa, suffered a shocking exit from the competion following a 1-0 defeat against Guinea on Tuesday.
Ezenwa told Completesportsnigeria.com that he is sad to see his side exit the competition at the group, but the experience garnered will be vital in future.
“We are disappointed that we couldnt make it through to the last eight,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We gave our best, unfortunately it was not good enough for us to make it through to the next round.
“It has been a wonderful experience for us and we hope to learn from it in future.
“Now, we have to concentrate on the games against Egypt.”
