Ezenwa Prays God For Final Victory In Burkina Faso

Home base Super Eagles goalie, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has handed his team's CHAN qualification prospect to God.

Ezenwa who was in goal on Sunday when the Eagles decimated Burkina Faso 2-0 in the first leg match at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, told completesportsnigeria.com Tuesday morning that they are looking unto God for another victory in Sunday's return leg match in Ougadougou.

"We're grateful to God for giving us victory on Sunday in Port Harcourt against Burkina Faso," Ezenwa stated during an exclusive chat with Completesportsnigeria.com.

"We're also believing that He will see us through in the return leg match this weekend in Ougadougou.

"Our target is to build on the performance of the last CHAN team who won a bronze medal in their first participation last year in South Africa.

"Yes, the 2016 edition will hold in (Kigali) Rwanda, we want to be there, but we must first win at Burkina Faso this weekend", Ezenwa said.
