The Super Falcons suffered the biggest drop in September's FIFA women's world rankings.
The Nigerian ladies dropped nine places from 29th to 38th in the world rankings released by FIFA on Thursday.
Meanwhile, two-time African women champions, Equatorial Guinea, achieved their highest-ever ranking.
The Equatorial Guineans moved up five places from 55th to 50th.
The Falcons were eliminated by Equatorial Guinea in the qualifiers for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
And at the just concluded All Africa Games, the Falcons finished fourth after losing 2-1 to Cote d'Ivoire in the third place match
The next Coca-Cola Women's World Ranking will be published on 18 December 2015.
