FC Ifeanyi Ubah captain, Thompson Emmanuel, is confident his team can rally back to winning ways when they host outgoing NPFL Champions, Enyimba FC on Sunday at Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Anambra Warriors' five match unbeaten run came to an end last weekend when they lost 2-1 to Lobi Stars but skipper Emmanuel is optimistic that the team have gotten over the loss and are gunning for a win in Sunday's local derby.
"The mood in camp is wonderful, we are so close to a continental ticket and that is a big motivation for us. Unfortunately, we lost last time out but we are professional, we have gotten over the defeat and we are ready for Sunday’s match. Lobi game is gone and past and we are now fully focused for Enyimba." Emmanuel said ahead of the game.
He also praised the club fans for their massive support so far and promised that the team will do its best to put a smile on their faces come Sunday.
"Our fans have been awesome throughout the season, we will try our very best for them to enjoy Sunday’s match to the fullest. They deserve nothing less than the three points and we will do our very best to give them that."Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
