Enugu Rangers beat minnows Akure City 2-0 in the Federation Cup Round of 64 fixture at the Area 3 mini stadium, Abuja on Friday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Bobby Clement put the Flying Antelopes ahead in the 15th minute.
The Coal City side dominated the game afterwards but failed to find the second until late in the contest.
Obinna Nwobodo added the second late in the game.
They joined other Nigeria Professional Football League sides like Kano Pillars, Warri Wolves, MFM and Rivers United in the next round.
Imama Amapakabo’s men will face National League side, ABS of Ilorin, in the round of 32.
