FIFA Fix Dates For Super Eagles, Cameroon WCQ Clashes

By James Agberebi:

The Federation of International Football Association have fixed the Group B 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon for Thursday, 31 August, 2017 in Uyo, reports.

FIFA announced the date for the game on Friday on their official website.

The reverse fixture in Yaoundé is billed for Monday, September 4.

The game in Uyo will come up at 7pm Nigerian time.

According to the Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, the reason for fixing the games on a week day is for television purposes.

The Super Eagles top Group B with six points after two games while Cameroon are second with two points.
