Nigeria U-17 women’s team, Flamingos, have qualified for this year’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Jordan.
The Flamingos defeated South Africa 1-0 in the second leg of their qualifying tie in Tembissa, thanks to a 28th minute goal by Rasheedat Ajibade.
The Nigerians qualify 7-0 on aggregate after winning the first leg 6-0 a fortnight ago in Abuja.
This will be the Flamingos’ sixth appearance at the U-17 Women’s World Cup after qualifying for the maiden edition in 2008.
At the 2014 U-17 World Cup in Costa Rica, the Flamingos got to the quarter-finals but lost 3-0 to Spain.SINGLE GUYS MUST READ THIS: 5 Things You Should NEVER Do When Meeting A GIRL YOU LIKE For The First Time If You EVER Want To DATE HER.
