Flying Eagles Edge Burundi In AFCON Qualifier

By James Agberebi:

Nigeria's Flying Eagles pipped Burundi 1-0 in the first leg second round of their 2017 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium in Bujumbura.

Agor Chukwudi scored the only goal in the 64th minute for Emmanuel Amuneke's side.

Both teams will square off in the return leg which is billed for Friday, 10 June in Nigeria.

The winner in the two legs will progress into the final round of the qualifiers.

The 20th edition of the U-20 AFCON comes up next year in Zambia.

Weldone guys, keep it up and don’t relied on a single goal, attack is the best option of a defence in the returning leg.
