Flying Eagles Stars Dominate CAF U20 Best XI

Four Flying Eagles players have been named in the Best XI of the just concluded 19th CAF U20 Youth Championship in Senegal.

Top striker Taiwo Awoniyi tops the list of Nigerian stars that made the team. The forward who scored three breath-taking goals at the AYC is joined by the trio of skipper Musa Mohammed, goalkeeper Joshua Enaholo and midfielder Akinjide Elijah Idowu.

On the Substitutes’ list are the duo of defender, Prince Izuchukwu Omego and midfielder Ifeanyi Matthew.

Quite surprisingly, forward Bernard Bulbwa, who scored a wonderful volleyed shot in the final against Senegal was not even named among the substitutes.
