Proprietor of Gabros International FC, Chief Gabriel Chukwuma has dispatched a strong worded petition to the EPL side, West Ham United, CAF; the League Management Company (LMC) and the National Judicial Council (NJC) in a bold move to reclaim ownership of the club which he claimed was wrongly taken away from him and re-named FC Ifeanyiubah, Completesportsnig
In the petition dated October 18, 2016 and addressed to West Ham United Managing Director, Angus Kinnear, which Completesportsnigeria.co
"We have the story of West Ham United", the petition read in part.
"They do not thrieve in illegality and therefore should not be dragged into illegality in Nigeria," it added.
Chukwuma claimed in the petition that he agreed to sell the Gabros International FC and the Gabros Stadium to Dr Patrick Ubah for a fee of N400,000,000.00. (four hundred million naira).
"And for the adjoining 56 plots of land, he was to pay N168m, thus bringing the total sum involved in the transaction to N500m.
"There was also another N130m being debts owed by the club, Gabros International FC to players, coaches and back room staff but Dr Patrick Ubah brought only N100m.
"That is what he has paid until now," Chukwuma said in the petition.
He expressed surprise that while he was exploring legitimate means and waiting patiently for the balance to be paid, he was greeted with a court order from Abuja stopping him and his agents and privies from interfering with FC Ifeanyiubah.
"FIFA abhors football matters to be taken to civil court. Yet, a court in Abuja granted an injunction on football related matter in Nnewi, Anambra State," the petition reads further.
"In all my years of involvement and investment in football culminating to my rise to the position of NFF Vice President, I know this is an aberration, in fact, outright violation of the rules of the game to take its matters to the conventional court."
He therefore urged NFF to do the needful while urging the league body, LMC not to register FC Ifeanyiubah for the 2016/2017 NPFL season.
"Both NFF and LMC should not register FC Ifeanyiubah for the next season until it acquires the club rightfully and morally.
"Ifeanyiubah should be compelled to stop laying claim of ownership a football club and its massive landed property that he is yet to legitimately acquire.
"Both FC Ifeanyiubah and the stadium/sports city/games village ownership should return to status quo, revert to Chief Gabriel Chukwuma and Gabros International FC until the terms of purchase agreement are met," Chief Chukwuma demanded.4years ago My wife left me,because i was too WEAK in bed,but today she calls me Bed Champion. Now i finally discovered a Natural Solution that forces women to ask for more.
