"Today was the most important game of the season. We played really, really good- the players played at a high level."
He added: "The fans have to know we play for them. It is our job. We need them in the Champions League to beat the best teams in the world."
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich gaffer stated that City's aim was to constantly qualify for the semi-finals after achieving the feat for the first tome last season.
"Last season was the first time in history City were in the semi-finals – this can happen – but the target is to do it every season."
On Ilkay Gundogan, who made his debut for City against Monchengladbach after recovering from his injury, and the absence of David Silva: "It shows how good Gundogan is. He is so intelligent – he knew exactly when to control the effort. I think he could play 90 minutes."
"For Silva it is not a big problem but enough for him not to play. I don't know if he will be in time to play against Bournemouth."Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
