Syli Stars of Guinea captain, Ibrahima Sory Bangoura, admits that his side is faced with a herculean task of beating Nigeria on Tuesday if Super Eagles’ performance at the 2016 CHAN so far is anything to go by.
Speaking to Completesportsnigeria.com at the Gorilla Hotel at Ntarayamma on Saturday, Bongoura hinted that the Nigerian Premier League over the years, have been a producing good players that are carefully integrated into the national team.
He revealed that every member of the Guinean national team know that beating Super Eagles will be a difficult side to beat come Tuesday.
The Guinean captain however expressed confidence in the ability of his teammates to raise their game against the glory hungry Nigerians, knowing quite well that anything less than a win will see them pack their bags and leave for Conakry.
“Yes, Nigeria is a good team and we know how good their league is with good players coming out to represent them in every competition," Bangoura told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We have watched them play against Niger and Tunisia, and everybody know Super Eagles is a good side and that is why they’re on top of the group.
“Nigeria will be difficult for us to beat but we will do our best on Tuesday to beat them. We must not make any mistake against them.
“All we want is three point because if we don’t win we might just pack our bags and go back home."
