Syli Stars of Guinea manager Kanfory Bangoura says stopping Super Eagles’ dangerman Chisom Chikatara in Tuesday Group C cash won’t be easy as people think, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Speaking with the media ahead of the clash, Bangoura hinges his submission on the pedigree of the Nigerian striker, coupled with his ability to go through defenders at ease.
Bangoura however maintains that he is not unaware of the daunting task of stopping Chikatara, but will come up with a solution to checkmate him from finding the net when both countries begin hostilities at the Muganda Stadium in Ribavu.
The north African bound striker has continued to be a torn in the flesh of defenders at the on-going African Nations Championship scoring four goals in two matches, but the Sysli Stars of Guinea gaffer says all hands will be on deck to stop Chikatara from doing any damage on Tuesday.
“Chikatara is a very good striker and he is capabale of destroying any team he plays against.
“But we know that we have to be at our best if really we want to stop him from scoring goals.
“We will do our best to stop Chikatara and once we can achieve that, then Guinea stands a chance of beating Nigeria,” says Bangoura .
