Super Eagles team doctors are battling to keep the team’s rave of the moment Chisom Chikatara fit for Friday’s crucial match against the Cartage Eagles of Tunisia as the striker battles with diarrhoea.
Chikatara revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com that he has been frequenting the toilet for few hours but hopes to be ready to face Tunisia on Friday.
Completesports can exclusively report team doctors are working round the clock to ensure that the Abia Warriors striker is back in good health and top shape ahead of the clash with the Tunisians.
Team media officer Toyin Ibitoye also confirmed that the player is being treated by the doctors as Nigeria attempt to continue their run in the on-going Orange Africa Nations Championship
“I have been frequenting the toilet for some time now but I hope to be ready for our next match,” Chikatara told Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Abia Warriors striker was adjudged as the man of the match in Nigeria 4-1 routing of their West Africa neighbor Niger Republic in the on-going Orange Africa Championship in Kigali.
