Eden Hazard is desperate to win the Champions League and Ballon d’Or.
The Belgian winger is enjoying a stellar season at Chelsea with 18 goals in 45 appearances and he has been tipped to win the PFA Player of the Year award.
Jose Mourinho’s men are on course to lift the Premier League title but Hazard is setting his sights on the biggest prize in European club football.
“Champions League is difficult,” he told Sky Sports. “We play against a big team, but one day I hope I can win this trophy as it is the best.
“All the big players have won the Champions League and I hope I can bring, like Didier [Drogba] did, the Champions League to Stamford Bridge.”
Mourinho believes Hazard is the third-best player on the planet after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The 24-year-old faces stiff competition from the La Liga stars for the glittering prize but he is desperate to be recognised by the footballing community.
