Nigerian striker Ezekiel Henty scored his first league goal for Videoton who won 2-0 away against Mezokovesd in the Hungarian top flight on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
It was Henry’s second league appearance since joining Videoton from Locomotiv Moscow in this transfer window.
Henry scored in the 23rd minute to give Videoton a 1-0 lead before Danko Lazovic doubled the lead in the 85 minute.
Videoton are second on six points in the 12-team league table.
In the Norwegian first division, Nigerian star Samuel Adegbenro scored for Viking in their 2-2 home draw against Lillestroem.
It was his sixth goal in 14th appearances for Viking so far.
Viking are now 15th on 14 points in the 16-team league table.
In Belgium, Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru made his first appearance for Anderlecht who beat Joseph Akpala’s Oostende 1-0 in the top flight.
Sofiane Hanni scored Anderlecht’s goal on 77 minutes which took them to sixth on four points.
Onyekuru played 90 minutes for Anderlecht.
And in the French Ligue 1, Chidozie Awaziem was made his league debut for Claudio Ranieri’s Nantes as they lost 3-0 away to Lille in their first league game of the season.
The Nigerian international defender came on in the 75th minute for Koffi Djidji with scores already 3-0.
