By James Agberebi:
Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has directed the six home-based players awaiting Belgian visas to report to Port Harcourt to commence preparation for the CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso.
The players, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Femi Thomas, Chima Akas, Austin Oboroakpor, Paul Onobi and Prince Aggreh, have been battling for their visas since last week for this week's friendlies, but their hopes of facing Congo DR and Cameroon have been dashed.
This was disclosed by the Nigeria Football Federation on their official Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Oliseh has replaced them with Kingsley Madu, Wilfred Ndidi and Dele Alampasu.
"Sunday Oliseh has directed the six home-based players still awaiting Belgian visas in Abuja to report to the Port Harcourt camp.
"In their place Oliseh has instructed Team Administrator Dayo Enebi to invite Kingsley Madu (AS Trencin), Wilfred Ndidi (Genk) Dele Alampasu (Desportivo).
"The three players are to arrive Belgium Wednesday."
The Eagles will take on DR Congo on Thursday before facing Cameroon on Sunday.
