Nigerian strikers Brown Ideye and Victor Anichebe were in action for West Brom as they lost 3-1 to Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg in a pre-season game on Wednesday.
The game which was played in Schladming, Austria, saw Anichebe feature from the start before he was substituted, while Ideye was brought on in the second half.
Marco Djuricin opened scoring in the 33rd minute before Jonathan Soriano doubled the advantage six minutes later.
In the 64th minute, Djuricin made it 3-0 while Adil Nabi grabbed a consolation goal for the Baggies on 68th minutes.
After experiencing a turbulent start to life with the Baggies, Ideye became a fans favourite when he started getting on the score sheet.
The former Dynamo Kiev forward scored four goals in 24 league appearances.
On his part, Anichebe who joined West Brom from Everton, netted three times in 21 outings.
