Olympiacos forward Brown Ideye is delighted his side extended their unbeaten run in the Greek league to 21 matches with a 1-0 derby win over PAOK Thessaloniki FC on Sunday.
A brilliant strike from Norwegian midfielder Omar Elabdellaoui after eight minutes was enough to earn Marco Silva's side their 20th league win of the campaign and open a 19-point gap over second place AEK Athens.
Ideye who has so far scored nine goals in 20 appearances in all competitions (seven goals in 18 league games) also praised his teammates for their effort in the derby win over the team that once paid the wages of Ifeanyi Udeze.
He wrote on his Instagram wall @ideyebrown99: "Amazing support from the fans like always, we look forward to the next game. Great job again guys.”
