FC Ifeanyiubah say they are still weighing their options following the decision of the League Management Company to order for a replay of the match day 33 fixture involving the Nnewi side and El-Kanemi Warriors, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
El-Kanemi Warriors had boycotted the match following the decision of their players to embark on strike over unpaid enhanced salaries.
Consequently, the walk-over was performed, thus awarding FC Ifeaniubah the maximum three points and three goals.
But the LMC on Monday night quashed the walkover, ordering for a replay, saying the El-Kanemi Warriors players did not adhere to the conditions for declaring a trade dispute with their club.
FC Ifeanyiubah said on Tuesday they are yet to be informed by the LMC on its verdict.
"We have not been informed or communicated on the replay order by LMC," offers Chukwuma Ubah, chairman of the club.
"All we know is that the official walk over ceremony was done because El-Kanemi Warriors did not show up.
"We have taken time to go through all the relevant portions of the league guidelines.
"We've also gone through FIFA rules as related to a such case.
"So, we believe the result of the match as at Sunday based on the rules of the game still stand," Chukwuma told Completesportsnigeria.com.
