Igboun Scores First League Goal In UFA Win, Kayode Benched In Kilmarnock Draw

Nigeria international, Sylvester Igboun scored the only goal as his Russian League side FC UFA pip home side Krylya 1-0 in Friday's league clash.

It was Igboun's first league goal of the season.

The former Midtjylland forward scored from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute to seal the win for UFA.

UFA had to play the remaining two minutes of the game with 10 men following the sending off of Pavel Alikin.

Igboun scored four goals for UFA last season.

In the Scottish Premier League, English-born Nigerian defender, Dapo Kayode, was an unused substitute for Kilmarnock who were held to a 1-1 draw at home against newly promoted Rangers.

Kris Boyd gave Kilmarnock 1-0 lead in the 29th minute.

But in the 59th minute, James Tavernier equalised for Rangers.
