Super Eagles striker, Sylvester Igboun, was in action for his Russian side UFA in their Monday league game away to FK Rostov which ended 1-1.
Igboun, who was on from the start, later went off for Semen Fomin in the 90th minute.
Dmitry Poloz gave Rostov the lead in the 29th minute from the penalty spot. Marcinho drew UFA level 10 minutes into the second half.
In the Turkish Super league, Gaziantepspor, parading former Flying Eagles defender Gbenga Arokoyo and John Chibuike, lost 1-0 at home to Istanbul Basaksehir.
Arokoyo was introduced for Ognjen Vranjeson with 12 minutes left, while Chibuike featured for 90 minutes.
The only goal of the match was scored by Sokol Cikalleshi in the 48th minute.
