Nigeria internationals, Odion Ighalo and Joseph Akpala, were on target for their respective clubs in international club friendly games on Wednesday.
Ighalo bagged a brace after finding the back of the net in the 32nd and 35th minutes as Watford thrashed St. Albans 4-0.
Akpala, who just joined KV Oostende from Turkish side Karabukspor, scored with seven minutes to the end of the game in their 4-2 win against Roeselare.
Last season, Ighalo scored 20 league goals for Watford as they secured promotion to the English Premier League.
He scored his first ever international goal for the Super Eagles in last month’s 2-0 win against Chad in the 2017 AFCON qualifier.
Akpala had his first stint in the Belgian Jupiler league when he joined Charleroi in 2006, before moving to Club Brugge in 2008.Jiji.ng the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria.
