Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo is expected to play under a new coach at Watford when the 2016/2017 English Premier League season commences late August, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Watford are already making a move to contract former Inter Milan manager, Walter Mazzarri, as one of their top targets to replace Quique Sanchez Flores at Vicarage Road.
Flores who reached the semi-final stage of the FA Cup with Watford will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
According to news coming from the Hornets that pays the Super Eagles striker's wages, Mazzarri is the man Pozzo and Watford believe has the experience to push Watford forwards, with the 54-year-old Italian keen to work in the Enlglish Premier League.
Meanwhile, Sanchez Flores has been linked with Valencia job. There has been talk of disciplinary problems developing at Watford over the course of his reign.
Ighalo who has been invited by Coach Salisu Yusuf for the international friendly matches against Mali and Luxembourg in France, has scored 14 goals in the about to end EPL season
