Ighalo Hits 10th EPL Goal, Makes Watford Scoring History

By James Agberebi:

Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo continued his goal scoring form as he scored the only goal in Watford’s 1-0 win against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Ighalo, who was on target last weekend against Norwich, struck as early as the fourth minute, to earn the Hornets the victory.

He has now scored 10 Premier League goals in 16 appearances for Watford this season, making the Nigeria star the first Watford player to reach double figures for goals in a single Premier League season.
The win sees Watford move up to seventh in the Premier League table on 25 points.

Their next league game is against Liverpool on Sunday at the Vicarage Road.
