Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo passed a late fitness test to feature in Watford’s 2-1 home loss to Stoke City at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
Ighalo who was struggling with a muscular injury before the game played 90 minutes and failed to add to his 16 goals this term despite having two chances to score.
Ighalo is the club’s top scorer so far this season.
A goal in each half from Jonathan Walters in the 18th minute and Joselu in the 51st minute secured the win for the Potters who moved two places up to seventh place in the English Premier League table.
Watford skipper Troy Deeney grabbed a consolatory goal in the 86th minute of the encounter after a defensive error.
Stoke City however held out to earn a record breaking sixth away win in a Premier League season.
