On-form Nigeria forward, Odion Ighalo missed the English Championship Player of the Month for the second time in a row.
The Watford forward has scored 13 goals in 10 Championship games since the turn of the year, but that goal-scoring form was not enough for Odion Ighalo to win either the January or February Championship player of the month award.
The Nigeria striker was nominated in successive months but missed out on the January honour to Middlesbrough’s Lee Tomlin, while February’s award was won by Nottingham Forest midfielder, Henri Lansbury.
Ighalo struck six goals in five games last month, including winners against Blackburn Rovers and Brentford.
Watford boss, Slavisa Jokanovic was shortlisted for the February manager of the month award, but that has been won by Norwich City boss Alex Neil, who guided the Canaries to five successive victories during February.
