Nigeria and Watford striker Odion Ighalo has been nominated for the English Premier League African Player of the Month award for November.
According to thenff.com, Ighalo was shortlisted alongside Ghana/Swansea forward Andre Ayew, DR Congo/Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie and Cote d'Ivoire/ Everton forward Arouna Kone.
Ighalo who has been one of the shining lights for Watford, scoring eight goals in 14 EPL appearances, was the recipient of the award for the month of October, making him the first player to achieve the feat.
In a release by the organizers of the award New African Soccer, Ighalo seemed to “continue where he left off in October, playing well enough to earn him a place in the shortlist for November”.
The winner of the EPL African Player of the Month for November will be announced in a matter of days.
