Super Eagles pair, John Ogu and Odion Ighalo, are confident the team will not disappoint Nigerians when they face Chad in a Nations Cup qualifier in Kaduna on Saturday.
After failing to qualify for the last AFCON, the Eagles are aware that they cannot afford to miss back-to-back Nations Cups.
“We know why we are here and we are prepared to win because that is the only way to atone for the AFCON miss in the last edition,” Ogu told completesoprtsnigeria.com
Also reacting, Watford striker Ighalo admitted: "Only good performance and result will help us win back the fans."
Meanwhile, Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa have both made cash pledges to the Divine Wounds Orphanage homes, Completesoprtsnigeria.com can reliably report.
Skipper of the team Enyeama promised to donate his anticipated match winning bonus to the Orphanage while his vice Musa CSKA Moscow offered to donate the sum of N500,000 as well.
They Eagles who are expected to depart for Kaduna by 2pm on Sunday are desperate to begin their AFCON campaign on the winning note according to John Ogu.
