Watford top scorer this season Odion Ighalo has refused to rule out a move away from the club despite the Hornets issuing a hands-off warning over their in-form striker when the January transfer window reopens.
Ighalo who signed a new improved five-year deal at the club in the summer has scored 10 Premier League goals so far this season with some eye-catching performances and has been linked with top teams across Europe.
“What I need to do is to focus and score more goals,” the Nigeria striker told Completesportsnigeria.com. "Leaving Watford depends on so many factors but sincerely I don’t want to discuss my exit as I just want to play football which I’m enjoying.”
Ighalo who rejected a £10million move to Chinese side Hebei Fortune last summer also added his desire will be to see the Hornets stay up at the end of the season.
“We are not carried away by our position or our performances. We just want to keep the momentum going and get points as possible to stay up,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com ahead of his side’s clash against Liverpool.
Ighalo is the highest scorer in England in all four professional divisions with 26 goals in 2015 and a club source was quoted on Daily Mail saying: "You just need to do the sums. Even an offer of silly money would be nowhere near what the club would get for staying up."
