Watford striker Odion Ighalo is raring to go for the start of the new Premier League season after bagging six goals in pre-season.
The 26-year-old forward is targetting an opening day goal against Everton at Goodison Park as well as goals in other games in his debut EPL season.
“I did well in the Championship and now it the time to prove myself again by scoring goals in the EPL,” Ighalo told completesportsnigeria.com.
“Our first game is against a good side in Everton and scoring won’t be bad.”
Ighalo who is expected to lead the Hornets attack in their final pre-season game tonight against Europa League champions Seviila admits that a win against the Spanish side will boost confidence after Watford slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Cardiff City.
“We must keep the momentum going and ensure we try to win for our home fans,” he added.Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
