EXCLUSIVE By Johnny Edward:
Watford striker Odion Ighalo will only leave Vicarage Road unless a mammoth offer is tabled in the summer for the 26-year-old Nigerian, a close source to the player has informed Completesportsnigeria.com exclusively.
Ighalo has been linked with a move in the summer with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all jostling for the highly rated striker who has scored 15 goals in the Premier League this term to help the Hornets within just four points of the top six with 12 matches left to play.
The close source is however happy about the reports but he says the deal must suit the club and the player in all terms.
"You know he still has four years left on his contract but regardless it depends on the offers that come," the source told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"It has to be right offer, maybe around £20m for Watford and Odion for the move to be a reality."
Ighalo has been in lethal goal scoring form this season, and could be a decent alternative for the clubs gunning for him.
Watford who face AFC Bournemouth on Saturday have amassed 36 points from their first 26 matches.
