Manchester City of England young striker Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed his readiness to give his best for his country if he gets the chance to play against Swaziland on Friday, while also stating his lack of fear to compete for a spot in the team.
Iheanacho stated he is not intimidated by the calibre of players in the Eagles squad, stressing that he also plays alongside experienced and high quality players in his Premier League club.
"I am ready to play for my country and I have the confidence to play with any player. I won't be shy or intimidated playing against Swaziland. If the coaches play me, I will deliver," he statedon Wednesday.
On his rapid transition from Under-17 to the Super Eagles, Iheanacho said he has been working hard hoping to achieve his goal of being a great player, noting that what happened at the Under-20 World Cup was a little setback that is better forgotten.
