Nigerian youngster Kelechi Iheanacho was in action for Manchester City in their 0-0 draw away to Leicester City in Tuesday night’s English Premier League game.
Iheanacho, who has made 12 appearances, scoring two goals, was introduced in the 89th minute for Raheem Sterling.
The draw left Manchester City third in the league table, three points off joint leaders Arsenal and Leicester.
In the Championship, Sammy Ameobi was introduced for Kenwyne Jones in the 65th minute as Cardiff City and Nottingham Forest played 1-1.
At Elland Road, Tom Adeyemi, in the colours of Leeds, was substituted for Lewis Cook on 63 minutes as they were forced to a 2-2 draw against visiting Derby County.
In the Scottish Premiership, Temitope Obadeyi was on target for Kilmarnock, but it wasn’t enough as they lost 3-2 away to Ross County.
It was his second league goal of the current campaign for Kilmarnock.
