Manchester City's forward Kelechi Iheanacho says its fight to the finish for his side against Tottenham when both teams go head-to-head on Super Sunday.
Iheanacho's City suffered a 3-1 home defeat to leaders Leicester City last weekend and are six points behind the Foxes, one behind Spurs who won the reverse fixture 4-1 at White Hart Lane.
The 19-year-old Nigerian is banking on the quality players in the squad to bounce back to winning ways.
"We have to treat it like a cup final and give everything we have in the game," the striker told Sky Sports News HQ.
"They have quality players and are second in the league so we have to fight them right to the final whistle.
"Everyone is sad that we lost last week and we have to put that behind us and move on. History was made that day but it's not in our mind."
Iheanacho has scored eight goals for Manchester City this season but he feels he still has lots of work to do if he is to cement his position as a front-line Premier League striker.
"I need to listen to everybody and work hard," he said. "I will try to impress everybody – the manager, the team, the fans – and to do that I have to work hard every day."Watch The Premier League Live!! with EXPRESSVPN the #1 Trusted Name in VPN
