Ikeme Passed Fit For Wolves, Ipswich Clash

By Adeboye Amosu:

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, has been declared fit to man the posts for Wolves in Saturday’s Championship clash against Ipswich Town, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Ikeme missed Tuesday’s 2016 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture between Nigeria and Egypt due to ill-health.
Wolves manager Kenny Jackett said the goalie has recovered fully from the sickness and he is looking forward to taking part in the game.
“Carl Ikeme was ill and had a high temprature, but they sent him home early,” Jackett said during his pre- match conference on Friday.
“I’m pleased to say that this week he’s recovered well.
“He looks okay and has trained this morning. I’m expecting him to be okay.
“He flew back on Tuesday, has taken the week to recover, but looks and feels fine.”
