By Johnny Edward:
Super Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is pleased with his second clean sheet of the Championship season following Wolverhampton Wanderers' goalless draw against Ipswich Town on Tuesday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The 29-year-old who equally praised his team for their spirited display against the visitors in the encounter is looking forward to the derby game against Birmingham City this Saturday as Wolves continue their unbeaten start under new coach Walter Zenga.
Ikeme tweeted: "Never an easy game against Ipswich, thought the lads gave their all.
"Take the draw and clean sheet, then look forward to the Derby!"
Ikeme has conceded three goals in four games in all competitions for Wolves so far this season.
Meanwhile his compatriot Dominic Iorfa won the man of the match award for the encounter.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are eighth on the Championship log with five points from three games.
