Enyimba head coach, Kadiri Ikhana, is determined to see his end their barren run against Rangers in Enugu.
The six-time league champions last tasted victory at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in 2007.
The Peoples Elephant face their Oriental rivals in what is undoubtedly the biggest game this weekend in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
With title rivals and leaders Sunshine Stars having an easier fixture against basement side, Taraba United, Ikhana and his men know they must end their drought at the venue to keep in touch with the Akure Gunners.
Ikhana told completesportsnigeria.com that they are not afraid of facing their rivals.
"Coming up against Rangers is a massive test for us, but we are ready to face them," he told completesportsnigeria.com.
"Records are meant to be broken and we hope to come out with a win on Sunday.
"We are firmly focused on achieving victory and we will work towards that.
"Playing in Enugu is a massive test for but we have enough experience to deal with the challenge."
