Ilechukwu Relishes MFM’s Hard-Fought Win Over Plateau, Targets  Rivers United Fall

MFM FC coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, says his team's late minute penalty against table toppers Plateau United in Sunday's top-of-the-table week 14 clash at Agege Stadium Lagos was well deserved, reports. 


With the game was locked at 1-1, and with two minutes remaining  when Sikiru Olatunbosun was brought down inside the penalty area.


Stephen Odey, who had given MFM FC the lead, dispatched the spot kick to give his side the important win.


In a chat with, an elated Ilechukwu hailed the decision of the referee to award the penalty.


"I am very happy because it was a great game and in the dying minute we eventually won the game and we thank God for that.


"The penalty was perfect, it was a deserved penalty," Ilechukwu said.


And ahead of MFM's rescheduled game against Rivers United on Wednesday at Agege Stadium, Ilechukwu expressed confidence that Rivers United will will be defeated. 


"We will beat Rivers United because it is all about beating every team now for us so we will surely beat them."


MFM FC are now second in the league table on 24 points, one point adrift of leaders, Plateau United. the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria.
